This thread reminded me of one night when I was traveling back from my retail work after 9pm. Some guy tried to get me to pull over and was indicating that something was wrong with my car. I risk assessed and kept driving.

Similarly about 12 months ago I was coming home late and found a guy laying on the road. I risked assessed and went to a house nearby where there was a group of people. The guy was drunk and had passed out. In this day and age, you have to risk assess the situation and be cautious.
