    Surely it wouldn't happen here. If someone proposed that any Aussie institution would help promote a float based on a prospectus offering to pay a reasonable rate of return, probably take huge fees, then dump most of its shares just before an announcement that the said distribution would be cancelled (BCS insultingly call it "a deferral" - c'mon...6 cents to 0.005 won't pay for the postage stamps) despite the Company's repeated assurances to its otherwise uninformed shareholders that the distribution was OK & fully funded, you might find this hypothetical scenario hard to believe.
    For the original investing Mums & Dads and personal Super Funds who were led to think that they were buying a safe infrastructure share with what Rowe described as "vanilla" funding, that's all your investment to date gone from your pocket to someone who is obviously smarter than you. That's fair dinkum capitalism for you.

    One wonders whether those who police such things give a stuff - just look at the dates on yesterday's ASX notice of ceasing to be a substantial shareholder. 2 working days limit, eh?
