Wow buster, I really love the idea and the hospitality that you have shown but sadly I (and my better half Bron) wont be able to make the trip...yet. We have done two journeys through East Africa in the 90's and WILL return soon. Seen Zanzibar decay in the three years between visits and think that some other places may also be falling into disrepair. Know what you mean about humbling experiences. Loved Malindi on your side of the border but a little worried about the coast further north. Knowing someone local can host us would be brilliant. And making a road trip to visit what will hopefully be an enriching enterprise for the local communities as well as us VRC investors would put a very personal perspective on what is at present, a speculative play on my part. Anyway, enough of the sentiment..GLTAH and I hope to meet up for that road trip soon. Darren.
