There will be lots of negotiations that take place regarding who gets what. It is now in a position where there are people there who will push negotiations forward. If the mine is not reopened there is no chance of Bougainville ever becoming an independent nation as they rely on foreign aid. PNG govt will need the revenue to fund new spending on infrastructure and all the promises incoming PM O'Neill has promised. RIO and BOC would love the revenue that could be made from the mine. The big factor is the players that are now involved. The environment both from a political,anf financial perspective plus the advancements already made through negotiations already taken place mean that this should receive a huge bump in SP soon. My advice, get more than you want now, then dump a portion when JSB and chatter starts, get most of your initial stake out, then hope it all comes together and reopened for the BIG pay day!
