I asked the CFO whether PWEP was ever going to be anything other than a demonstration precinct. The answer was not a "most definitely" not even a "probably" it was more of a "who knows what will happen in the future."

I took that to mean that there will be projects in other localities that will take priority over Garden Island.

It was pointed out that the very basic layout of the onshore plant at GI should not be viewed as what they will do for future projects. This one was more a case of getting a functioning plant without having to waste money on non essentials.
