Attended the Perth meeting. They are expecting a sharp revenue increase in the next quarter so they don't think there'll be a cap raising anytime soon. They are developing the business in verticals with separate staff for each sector so if in the future they wish to sell one part of the business as a module they can do so.
Decreasing the size of the unit to the size of a cigarette pack is the first aim and then to the size of a silicon chip is their ultimate aim(2 - 3 years away). To decrease to chip size will cost 10-15 million they estimate so there will be a raising at some stage down the track. Meanwhile the cigarette pack size will enable it to be worn by soldiers, police etc hence increasing their potential markets again.
They think autonomous cars are around 1-2 years away.
Nathan Barbarich(who put the IPO together) spoke at the start of the meeting and said (I paraphrase) that even given the bullish performance of ELS he honestly thinks we are just at the beginning.
