Unfortunately I could not get to the presentation in Melbourne today, but did get the privilege to catch up with them for a chat afterwards.

It was pretty short as one of the big changes with Arafura now is that others want to talk to them... as such they had more meetings again afterwards (it is not that long ago that they had plenty of time and no one to talk too).

I got a quick run down on where they are at and a run down on the questions they got asked...

From my reading..
- SP down due to PFS reaction and Subprime etc
- JV's wont come until Ansto results are in at earliest
There is not much new here...

I guess the big change now is that Arafura has become a company that people wish to talk to, from share holders, brokers and potential off take/ JV partners. Only good can come of this.

The flip side is that ARU could also be taken out by prowlers as it is cheap and anyone who has done their homework could lock up supply at the cost of their competitors so things could change quickly; but my view is work to the plan and bank on building a good sized multi commodity player.. this is achievable in a relatively short term imho.

My ultimate 'Key indicator' is enthusiasm and desire; so whenever I get to catch up with people I always try to suss this out... the guys got a good rating... they are still enthused.
