    The younger generation are mostly to blame here IMO and harsher punishments for littering could help to rectify the extent of it for years to come.

    The reason I say the younger generation is because I am continuously amazed as to the atrocious state of the local city council funded/provided skate parks. Everytime I drive past one there is rubbish everywhere even though bins are provided. The kids generally lack respect and are to lazy to use the bins and seem to chuck their crap wherever they please.

    Policing these type of areas and holding these littlebugs responsible for their actions would be a good place to start IMO. Give the culprits some community service time picking up rubbish may make them think twice about doing it again.

    Bassendean (oval),Perth skatepark is the one I drive past most often and it almost always looks like a rubbish tip.
