There are many numerous brands that use this method however Apple is the most household brand hence the reason for using it. I will continue using it for the purpose of this conversation but hou can apply it to any of the numerous brands that use the same marketing technique.
So if I break this down to allow direct parallels you can determine of there are similarities
.
1a. Does Apple show off a working product before an official launch date?
1b. Have IOT shown a working model before an offical launch?
2a. Does the lack of detail by apple regarding a new product create talk.
2b. Has the lack of detail regarding IOT and in particular the Roam-e created talk?
3a. Does Apple drip feed? Giving ideas of what updates to their phones or camers and saying catch phrases like "coming soon" creating hype, excitement and talk?
3b. Do you believe IOT is drip feeding through small videos, some pictures but no working video and using terms of coming soon creating hype, talk and excitement?
Obviously not every aspect of their marketing techniques will be the same but surely even you can draw the parallels between the two. Well maybe you can't, but if you can read I have done it for you.
