Leases are not RFGs problems. All franchisee will provide a personal guarantee to the landlord.
The issue arises if a franchisee walks away from the lease. RFG want to maintain good relationships with its landlords and thus need to keep paying the rent whilst taking legal actions against the franchisee to recover funds. Never a fun situation.
