hey you may be right. My take is this:

- small basket size of less than $10, economy has to be really bad for people not being able to afford this small transaction value
- foot traffic and retail sale for May the strongest it’s been. Will be slower going forward for sure but it’s currently very healthy
- aus not going into recession, definitely a slowdown though
- inflation will not go up forever
- household budget definitely tighter but they will cut other categories like find dining and other expensive things before denying their kids (or themselves) feel good junk donuts

compared to its peers, which face similar issues, none is trading at 4-5 PE.
Just my 2c and checking my sanity.
