Just so it's clear here, dick smith were struggling big time when Woolworths sold them, it was negatively affecting WOW's share price and shareholders voted to give DSH. So the problem is not entirely Anchorage's fault, but the way they put wallpaper over the cracks and used every accounting trick in the books to make DSH appear profitable was a master stroke in private equity tactics, to the detriment of the investors.
