    Cost per Mate = $8.33
    Cost for fuel = $2.00
    Total Cost = $8.33 x 3 =$24.99 + $2.00 =$26.99
    Mates change = $1.00 x 3 = $3.00

    Grand total = $29.99

    Because of rounding = $30.00

    Obviously the original formulae was concocted by the ATO.
