Jacksoon,
Part of your latest post reads:
"but my view is that we should encourage young folk to get involved in the market and Robbo's activities poison them off at an early stage. My daughter feels angry and let down"
My question is "angry and let down by whom"?
+ at/by herself for not doing the proper financial analysis before making an investment decision?
+ at/by her own greed for thinking she could quickly turn 20c into $1?
+ I could go on, but you get my drift.
Your daughter needs to realise that the stock market takes no prisoners and only the smart will survive.
I am no fan of Robbo (far from it) and I took him on when he started making bold claims, without any demonstrated substance, for the prospects of ITE.
In contrast to Robbo, in my posts I attempted to offer detailed financial analysis which showed Robbo's claims were all but impossible to be achieved. Maybe if you daughter has read my posts she would have thought twice?
On the positive side I would respectfully suggest your daughter has learned a very valuable lesson, at a pretty cheap price , that is, DYOR.
