Extra for experts 3: There is no indication of change in the 2016/2017 budget. The focus seems to be on enforcement by the TRA of the existing tax regime and plugging loopholes. The Tanzanian government is going to increase infrastructure spending, which is a nice touch.
I also note that this seems to undermine the credibility of one poster's claim that Tanz would raise its corporate tax rate to 40% and royalty to 5%.
