Resource Stocks Rich List -2007
Robert Anthony Healy of Orange NSW, is on the list in 12th position with an estimated wealth of A$417 million, thanks to a strong share portfolio he and his wife Helen have which includes a number of strong-performing Australian resources companies.
Originally a builder, Mr Healy has established his huge portfolio with some extraordinary investments, not the least the purchase of more than 13 million Paladin shares in 2004 when the share price was around two cents.
While the investment may not have been unusual at the time, what was unusual was that Mr Healy did not sell his shares and has been rewarded for his loyalty and commitment with a value of about A$100 million for 2.16% stake in the uranium miner - a platform that has enabled him to build a portfolio that would be the envy of any investor.
He holds -
- Paladin Ltd (PDN.ax)
- Discovery Metal Ltd (DML.ax) - substantial holder
- Geodynamics Ltd (GDY.ax) - substantial holder
- Black Range Minerals Ltd (BLR.ax) - substantial holder
- Beadell Resource Ltd (BDR.ax) - almost substantial holder
- Australasian Resources Ltd (ARH.ax)
- Meridian Minerals Ltd (MII.ax) - substantial holder
- Deep Yellow Ltd (DYL.ax) - substantial holder
- Navigator Resources Ltd (NAV.ax) - substantial holder
- Elk Petroleum Limited (ELK.ax) - substantial holder
- Copper Range Resources (CRJ.ax)
- Redfork Energy Ltd (RFE.ax)
As well as previously being involved with OXR PAN amongst others.
Note the two companies in bold - now connect the dots ...
In my opinion, having Robert Healy as our cornerstone investor will give us access to many things that other juniors cannot offer. This includes undervalued assets world-wide and further capital if required
Well done, Mr Read.
