Some classic Arab comments that have proved disingenuous :
- they helped the Allies win WW2. Erm, maybe not the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem who was famously pictured with Hitler, or the Islamic Regiment of the German army.
- they’re quite happy to have Jews as a minority in their countries. Erm, that hasn’t quite worked out, has it ?
Let’s face it, America, Australia, India/Pakistan, Eastern bloc countries and many more were all created out of Empires. British, Spanish, Ottoman and so on. Nobody questions their legitimacy anymore, but as for little old Israel formed after the Holocaust, it’s a different story.
