He went with the LNP ONLY to conserve his seat with the voters so his son can walk into it and have it for the next umpteen years, like he and his Dad before him have. It's really Katter Nation up there - the seat is so huge!
Katter is 65 and coming up to overdue retirement. He knew if he went Labor his son would have no hope!

And they had the gall to lecture us on "good faith", "ethics", "high moral standards" and "honesty" - then vote for a Broadband system which is not even cost analysed. When they analyzed Abbott's costings to death - then vote for an uncosted, profit outcome unknown monstrosity! Hypocrites!
BTW - the 10 BILLION Gillard is giving them to ensure her PM - ship vote is mainly money which she is now 'diverting' from other "areas". Not new money, in the main. Perhaps THAT area is YOURS!!!!!
And, if you're in a safe Labor seat - the pickings are going to be very lean for the next umpteen years.
