I suppose it would be inconvenient to refer to the evidence but if you look at the results closely you will find that all 3 indies were elected on Greens and ALP preferences.
In other words - they voted against the coalition.
The agrarian socialists have shaken off their Menzies chains and reverted to type.
Why do you think every anti-labor coalition fell apart until Menzies came along?
