Again I put nothing past the stupidity and shortsightedness of this government but it would set a terrible precedent.
The gov does this to MEL and the activists will be emboldened on every other issue they choose to take up. It truly would just dig them a bigger and bigger hole.
Baird is not a stupid man, I still have a tiny skerrick of hope that sense will prevail.
The hurdle to get in to State government is way too low, we are represented by intellectual pygmies (to quote a man I would love to see back in the saddle - even though I am of a different political persuasion.).
