so I seen a company called robin hood claims to be coming to Australia.
they are basically offering free brokerage on trades and free live data streaming.
I thought it sounded strange so I did some digging around their website and they reckon their not charging brokerage because their going to make up their profit from their margin loan offers instead.
I thought it was an interesting concept but I think the company name sounds fishy I mean where not the poor are we lol.
then i seen they claim to be funded by celebrities like snoop dog and a few other rappers lol. I'm not sure what to think to be honest it could be a joke/scam or a great idea.
please discuss i would love others opinions
