When I got up this morning and saw the overnight performance in New York, I thought I would be jumping with joy. But I’m not. And the reason – Australia.
The main chart I have up on my wall is the SPX and the XJO. They work together – often one will give a signal before the other. If this was a serious break in New York, I would have thought we would have gone a bit further to confirm it. We didn’t. Now either I have completely lost the plot and should ignore Australia, or we are going to ignore New York and follow Asia (which is one of the things I believe will happen this year) or New York was only pulling back to its first support before having another leg up. New York is due for a bounce here anyway so I think we might have a bit of time to work out this whole question. But unless it happens quickly, I am going to miss all the fun.....
Brazil was really strong again. I can’t help feeling that there is something going on that we haven’t got a clear picture on yet
