robot trading in action

Haven't noticed this on IDC before, but then again I haven't been tracking IDC's course of trades for very long.
Check out the buying pattern in action this afternoon (refer qty column below).

Excuse my ignorance here but anyone care to elaborate as to the purpose of this action on a relatively low traded stock such as IDC? The only thing I can think of is to artificially increase the no. of trades and of course to accumulate at this price, but why like this?
