No. Fosun offered a £900m rescue package to save Thomas Cook which was wasn’t enough. There is considerable speculation they engineered the collapse so they could buy the viable bits of the business on the cheap rather than the whole thing. They aren’t short of a few bob. They also own Wolverhampton Wanderers. Zero relevance.
