my memory of the history with Command Petrloeum and Doran is different. It was sold to Cairn when the main shareholder(Snyder, US based) sold their shareholding plus the Australian market failed to understand the potential value of the company. I dont believe Doran was in favour of this sale.
ROC was started pst CMD. For long term shareholders it has had good growth under Doran's stewardship.
In my case I bought CMD at $0.16 and sold at $1.16/share. If Simon can do something similar with HDR I will be more than happy.
