makes one think that the only way for an offer to be made is a hostile one- the m'gment and board are obviously doing everything they can to scare suitors away
i thought the most telling point that Allan Gray made in their letter was about the anzon merger - dont know if any of the key people at Roc are still the same?!
there have been many famous rebuffs of offers - nab and amp, qan,etc; and many more mergers that have destroyed value
time will tell
