"on the completion of toxicology studies"

just a querey on that ST as i'm not exactly sure but i would assume that toxicolgy studies would be something that Roche may have indeed conducted themselves on their proposed drugs. The way i understand it was the agreement was originally entered to simply locate phylomer candidates that could "transport" large molecules to attack disease targets within cells. Obviously this has now been expanded to include Phylomers that can travel through cells eg. the blood-brain barrier.

I'm not sure if i'm making sense but i guess i'm assuming that Roche already had a product in mind when forming the agreement but had no way to reach the sort after target area.

Does that make sense or is it way off the mark ?
