I was told quite some time ago - basically in the days following the Roche/Genetech cross of the BBB that PYC was not involved in that particular project - NW just using I guess the obvious answer that PYC's project was focussed on peptides where-as the release above was based on an antibody. He did also say though while they are not involved in that case Roche are/where very happy with how things where progressing.

Although i still do think there are alot of similarities or coincidental events that make me think there is/was involvement hence my quereis - maybe i got told porkies by NW to try brush it off lol.... Anyway though looking into it further the Roche/Genetech antibody was in development for quite sometime probably too long for PYC to have had an input unless of course the wild card IS peptides can be used to generate antibodies, so i guess the wild card is the developed antibody was tinkered with in late stages hence the cross.

The similarities/coincidental events that pushed my queries where the fact Roche extended PYC's collaboration to include crossing the blood-brain barrier & licensed a specific peptide for application --- 3 DAYS before Genetech/Roche made the ground breaking cross.

Anyway who knows - only time will tell, but i guess the best assumption remains that there is no involvement in the particular project.
