Have a look through the history of the supplements for each PMA. You'll notice that around 23/09/2011 there were a number of approvals that state:

Approval for a manufacturing site located at roche diagnostics gmbh in mannheim, germany.

It looks like they are moving production for these products to a new manufacturing site, which may be an innocent explanation for the change in manufacturing method. But they may also be moving manufacturing and changing the method to support Mix&Go. I guess we'll be informed soon enough if it's the latter.
