Bonza its smoke and mirrors. What matters to farmers is if their diesel, herbicides and especially nitrogen fertilizer will come to them free of a carbon tax. In other words will herbicide and fertilizer manufaturers be exempt along with agriculture? I doubt it ... the ETS is designed to temper all industrial production models and grain production will not be spared ...
