Hard times for all the Li market, however the point that the sector cannot run in losses for substantial amount of time is correct. Eventually the price wil rise as the supply has been cut across major mines with the reduction to the expansions as well as production targets.

What they did say about the EMH: "Market is indicating that mining in Europe will not happen", "We think that if EU wanted to secure local supply they have no other option than to progress and support EU-based junior-producers"

Anyways fairly insightful, however, their prognosis on Li pricing is that the market recovery will start happening by the end of the year. We are not producing in any meaningful capacity until 2026-2027 so the recovery forecasts of the Li price by 2024-2025 is great for that darn DFS. If we are to believe the podcast that means that the Li market will be in deep distress by the end of 2024 and valuations should be low up until then.
