hi siameseparrot, some people ill admit me, get pleasure from owning physical gold, not for what it can buy them.
just holding a few oz in your hand and feeling the weight sends goose bumps up my spine, not the fact i can sell it and go to vegas and have a good time etc....
just the fact that im better off than 95%+ of the sheeple who OWN none of it and will get wiped out in a SHTF is enough to keep a smile on my dial.
By the way i think this article was released by the gold bears to get people to sell beofre we get to $2000 in case all that gold floods the market and depresses prices, i think once it hits 2k and forms a nice base, 2k will be like the old 1k, and we can start towards 3k and 5k and 10k+ like mike maloney predicts.
