well the company has flagged previously that they were looking and assessing merits of possible acquisitions - recall plural opportunities in their statement so I guess some people expected one in last 3 months and are now waiting for this eventuality.
As a VHT investor I prefer Management take their time & get it right. A target company firstly which offers tangible growth opportunities and is a good fit, and secondly at a purchase price that may be share price accretive in first 12 months.
Given company’s stated intentions I would not believe them to be idle on this front.
