Yep, and after that, BOQ used to trade between $10 and $14 for years apart from Storm financial blip which appears to be shorter than the current down turn... ME bank acquisition and IT upgrades have led to one of the longest downturns this bank has ever seen in both shore price and dividends... the only upside we had since 2019 was the euphoria around ME bank acquisition which was portrayed by BOQ as being EPS accretive, moreover when they announced the IT upgrades they said they would be finished in 2023 (4 years after 2019) but when I looked at the last announcement Pat now says they are only about 50% through and that there will be more cuts to the dividend this year which is expected to be worse than last... its hard to jump in this stock even at $5 when this guy keeps spinning BS each time results are announced (although given the ASIC/APRA EU, he's chosen to be more forthright with his latest forecasts than in the past), if he was honest years ago and forecast profitability and dividend downgrades when they first announced the IT upgrades in 2019, I would never have bought this stock - to me it looks like he doesn't give a crap about retail shareholders especially the way the capital raises were handled.
