I think M & G's action in taking this large loss is not part of a takeover ploy but they feel this thing could go to go downhill badly and they should get out. IMO the Chinese are probably protecting themselves averaging down as they have paid too much and having been overly impressed in by the spectacular supergene ore. I think at the end of the day they will take it over not because this is El Dorado but to save their bacon.

so what you (and those who agree with you) are saying, is that the project doesn't have the resources that the company claims that it has? i.e., the project is a scam?

now _that_ sounds about right. anyone who relies on hotcopper for information that might have a bearing on their investment choices is just asking for trouble, especially within the cdu forum, and especially within the time frame since m&g began to sell down the sp.
