I think they'll focus on brining the fissure deposits into production as a priority (remember Klipspringer from LOM SA?)
I'm presuming that its the sheer scale of the alluvial deposits that have made alluvial exploration a lower priority relative to the kimberlite.
I think that also kimberlites have a lot more sex appeal to investors relative to alluvial. A key consideration for the Lulo kimberlites is because of their (presumed) high grades and easy surface access, that the could be brought into production relatively and cheaply compared to normal mines.
