Hi Treass,
In regard to the instability of the share price I think Elpha summed it up well, "It is the result of ongoing corporate and finance related issues."
Just my opinion, these potential cornerstone investors have decided that they want a piece of the action and obviously want in at the best price possible. I think it's fair to say that they know/understand the geological setting and the mineralization and metallurgy of the Mt Kare property and what it would be worth if they (IDC) were to move ahead and prove up 1 million oz. of gold at 10g/t. The potential cornerstone investors have the cash, we have the gold, sounds like a Mexican stand off to me, lets see who blinks first.
As I mentioned earlier I would have liked to have seen them take the money in the last cap raise and drill baby drill, however, and I'm happy to be corrected on this, it would have complicated negotiations with the potential cornerstone investors. Just one final point, IMO the longer this negotiation "strings out" the more pressure is placed on IDC management as the cash burn continues and news flow stops - advantage potential cornerstone investors.
I think IDC has learned from the mistakes of the past and Mt Kare will be mined, my question is, how much do we have to give away to see this happen? Like you and many others I hope we find out soon.
