My preference would be for Johnson and Johnson, they have the biggest pockets around. However an announcement concerning the expansion of the trials for Dimebon (Medivation funded by Pfizer) has been viewed poorly by the US market as it will delay the potential release of that drug until 2011. I've also read some comments that the expansion looks like a fishing expedition brought on by poor early trial indications, this is probably just speculation but it has a small ring of truth. That might leave Pfizer looking for another ALZ drug.
I hope your right about an announcement before year end it would be a nice Xmas bonus.
