I suppose that whilst the work-over rig was operating flow-rates would have fluctuated a fair bit, and an average figure wouldn't have been accurate.
Since the announcement was dated June 27/28 and the work-over rig was released on June 25, I suppose the maximum 24 hour period occurred after the rig had finished it's job.
So the 24 hour flow-rates are I guess a semi-accurate IP flow amount, but I guess we can't know this for sure.
It is for this exact reason why I dislike announcements which provide Initial production or max production rates, and not average flow rates. But in this case the flow-rates were only over a couple of inaccurate days (inaccurate due to the operations occuring) so I've got no problems with the way SSN reported this.
Having said this, hopefully SSN keep us up to date with 30 days figures (or even 15 day figures).
