Most players get shaken out in the early stages of any bull run.

Because we haven't had a bull market for over 20 years in gold, there are plenty of "expert" media commentators/brokers who have never experienced a live gold bull market. They see the current run in gold as just being a repeat of what they may have experienced.

For as long as they can remember gold has been a boring commodity. When it goes to around $400 it quickly drops back again in price. Similarly with base metals etc.
