Because day to day I still need to buy food and pay a mortgage and having a 3 year old is not cheap
So I have two levels of investment - one fund which is my "all-in" investment fund and one which is my short-term day-trading fund.
I'm fortunate enough that I do okay with my day-trading fund and I can pay my day-to-day bills and expenses from the profits. If I throw any of "that fund" into my all-in fund, I need to take some of it out and freehold so as not to significantly impact my income.
Because day to day I still need to buy food and pay a mortgage...
