    Mr. Roger J. Higgins served as Senior Vice President of Copper at Teck Resources Limited (formerly Teck Cominco Ltd.) since June 1, 2008. Mr. Higgins served as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Base Metals, Australia at Bhp Billiton Ltd. from June 6, 2005 to 2007. He served as Senior Vice President of Teck Cominco Ltd. Mr. Higgins served as Vice President, Project Development, BHP Billiton, Base Metals from 2002 to 2005. His career spanned 41 years, which ... included various hydrology related positions early in his career in Papua New Guinea (Commonwealth Department and Bougainville Copper), and 4-years at the University of New South Wales. He served for 26-years with BHP as Manager Planning and Development with BHP Copper, General Mine Manager Escondida, Managing Director Ok Tedi, Vice President Project Development Chile and Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Australia, where he was responsible for the Olympic Dam and Cannington mines. He has experience in the copper business, as well as significant ope rating experience in the South American environment. He has been a Director of Metminco Limited. since October 7, 2013. Mr. Higgins holds a BE from the University of Queensland, a MSc from the University of Aberdeen, a PhD from the University of New South Wales in Water Resource Economics and attended the Stanford Executive Program.
