I think he is specifically referring to Montgomery rabbitting on about intrinsic value.

The reality is all analysts using fundamental analysis assess intrinsic value based on their own assumptions, but Roger Montgomery goes on about as if to say only a few people (including him) assess intrinsic value and that his assessment is the one people should follow etc.

All the brokers are doing valuations based on their assessment of intrinsic value, KKR are as well, there's nothing special about it.
