According to Reuters the various analysts recommendations are:  Hold 1, Buy 1 and Outperform 4.
http://www.reuters.com/finance/stocks/analyst?symbol=AGI.AX and Commsec showing consensus recommendations of Strong Buy 1, Moderate Buy 1.  No comfort to those doing their dough at the moment but may be a buying opportunity for those of us not in it and prepared to take a punt.

I've been watching this stock for a while and I'm familiar with all the Switzer and YMYC sessions Sharls is referring to.  In fact a caller (male) did ring in to YMYC one night querying why the Montgomery rep (who I think was Tim Kelley, Montgomery Head of Research) did say he was under "embargo" and couldn't comment.  There were words to the effect of analysts/investment companies etc regularly meet with company reps etc, nothing untoward would have been spoken about etc.  The host, who I think was Jeremy Hook from TMS Capital, also gave a fairly lengthy explanation, neither of the two panelists were from Montgomery.  After this I did get a bit cautious about buying and glad now I held off.  I can't be specific with names/dates as I record the program's and fast forward through to them to the bits that I think may interest me.

It's not just Roger Montgomery who's been bullish on AGI when appearing on Switzer and YMYC, all analysts have for months now, including last night on YMYC.  But, like Sharls, I'd still like to know why the Montgomery man (Tim Kelley? http://www.montinvest.com/our-team) was under "embargo".
