You are on the money. I do strongly disagree with Autosime's comment: Fund managers regularly meet with management and conduct much deeper analysis into a company , it's financial and outlook statements. You only need to listen to some conference calls to see this. This is not inside info , it's due diligence people managing 100s of millions must and do undertake
