I have no knowledge of their thinking. I was once very large in this stock back in 2007 etc.I knew then it was the view of a few of the large instos on the register that the minorities would be taken out. They bought for that reason. As we know this has not happened and much water under the proverbial bridge.
Going forward it makes little sense to have a gaggle of minorities unless they are to rely on the ASX for funding. I doubt that.It would make more sense for Genorah to have an issue in UK or SA and list there and remove NKP entirely or debt fund it.Time will tell.
On Rod's point regarding who is looking out for minorities? It is capitalism. If you do not like the offer do not take it and if enough do that and they do not get to the threshold then they will have to raise bid etc.It is not like we do not know there is a major shareholder on the register.
I for one will be happy to be rid of this management style.Enough said on that front.
