"All we need now is (Help God) is that the bulk sample is over 1.7%. The bulk sample is the BIBLE, the JORC is academic and completed with a computer program, a bulk sample is the real deal"
There seems to be some confusion about the purpose of bulk sampling. Its the JORC that tells you about the size and grade of the resource, its not "academic", its based on hundreds of thousands of meters of drill core at well defined intervals across the entire deposit. The bulk sample is taken from locations chosen by the company where the grade is already known. Usually these locations would be selected on the basis that they are representative of overall grades and ore types and for the purpose of testing metallurgical processes, but its possible they were selected in order to test the recoveries of a specific type of ore.
Either way they don't tell you anything about the overall size or grade of the deposit, and they don't take precedence over the JORC. If they haven't been selected to be near the average type and grade of ore, then they don't tell you anything about the average likely recoveries either.
