Well I have found an apartment in the city on St Kilda Road. We have looked at many in Docklands,St Kilda and St Kilda Road.
We decided that St Kilda Road suited our needs best..Quick access to the city by tram or walk. About a 20 mins walk to the beach or what St Kilda has to offer or Botanical Gardens and Albert park not far away.
We missed a couple in docklands that i liked but I didn't want to get into bidding wars to be the winner on a couple.. Although the agents say they don't encourage it it was suggested that if i offered more I would "get it" but i did not want to play that game.

We move in a couple of weeks but will be able to escape to the country as needed as we will be keeping our existing home. Thanks again all. J
