ROI

OK. Me again. I calculated a solar system and 1 ZCell will set me back 25-27k. My yearly electricity bill is $2700. So my ROI is still very high. Actually looking at my consumption (38kwh/day) I probably need 2 batteries. Somehow I can't see myself spending 35+ to save 2-3k a year??? On top of it I use Gas for my hot water, Fireplace and pool heater. Opinion anyone?

I guess in short investing in the company was a good decision but buying their product is not. But separating the two is impossible... Are there really that many "greenies" out there with that kind of money where it's just about either doing the right thing or sticking it up the utility company? IMO, financially it just does not add up (just yet). Again. Love to have some of other HC's members thoughts.
