GSJBW said today the window for equity raisings is effectively closed until late Jan early Feb. Furthermore
"hedge funds will now be covering shorts and institutions reducing underweight positions in stocks that had been discounted for possible equity issue"
I guess WES doesn't fall in the shorts category, but situation should still relieve downward pressure on share price for a while.
